브리짓 존스의 일기 OST중의 Out Of Reach
영화 1,2편은 모두 헬렌 필딩의 원작소설을
기본으로 해서 만들어진 것인데,
모든 로맨틱 코미디가 그렇듯이,
이 영화의 사운드트랙 역시 달콤하고 낭만적인
입김으로 가득하다.
다이아나 로스와 호흡을 맞춘 마빈 게이와 로비 윌리암스,
그리고 아론 소울의 목소리를 제외하곤,
여성 뮤지션들의 활약이 두드러진 앨범.
특히 주인공 브리짓의 심리 상태에 맞게 적재적소에서
미소를 머금고 있는 음악들이 친근하고 살갑다.
특히 제리 할리웰의 It's Raining Men과
다이나 캐롤의 Someone Like You, 제이미 오닐의All By Myself,
그리고 로비 윌리암스의 Have You Met Miss Jones?처럼
포만감 가득한 리메이크로 우리를 초대하는 사운드트랙.
