Down to the earth to live on the wind

Born on the wind

and he sleeps on the wind

So thin and graceful the sun shines through

He flies so high up in the sky

Out of reach of human eye and the only time

누군가가 이 세상에 내려 보낸 

한 마리의 작고 귀여운 새

그 작은 새는 이 세상으로 내려와

거친 바람 속에서 살았습니다

바람 속에서 태어나 

바람 속에 잠이 드는 이 작은 새는 

누군가가 이 세상으로 보낸거지요



그 새는 가볍고 연약하지만

하늘색의 푸른 깃을 가지고 있답니다

너무 가냘프고 우아하여 

햇살이 스며들 정도였지요

바람 속에서 살고 있는 이 작은 새는..

이 귀여운 작은 새를 

누군가가 이 세상으로 보낸거지요



그 작은 새는 

인간들의 눈으로 볼 수 없는

하늘 높은 곳에서만 날아 다니지요

그 작은 새는 꼭한번 이 세상에 내려오는데

그 때는 이 작은 새가 

죽음이 다가왔음을 알리는 때입니다

작은 새는 죽을 때만 

이 세상에 내려온답니다....
